EASEL currently sponsors animals by paying for low cost spay/neuter for shelter animals in our area. We have established relationships to provide affordable veterinary care to help ensure that animals do not leave our local shelter without being spayed or neutered.

EASEL ENCOURAGES ALL PET OWNERS TO SPAY OR NEUTER THEIR PETS.
The West Trenton Animal Hospital (www.westtrentonanimalhosp.com) has generously agreed to spay and neuter shelter dogs through EASEL for $100, in line with what a low-cost clinic would charge. The West Trenton Animal Hospital is a top-notch facility, so we know that the animals we take there receive the highest level of care.

Forgotten Cats (www.forgottencats.org) of Delaware, in conjunction with Trenton Trappers, has organized a clinic to provide spay/neuter for cats. Owned, domestic cats are altered for $50 and feral cats can be done for $25. EASEL commends both Forgotten Cats and Trenton Trappers for providing a much needed service for Mercer County, where cat overpopulation has become a major problem. EASEL supports TNR, and groups like this make it possible.
