Spanky was a very sick little kitten. At 4 months of age, he developed severe pneumonia. He went to a local vet, but needed to be admitted to an emergency vet due to the severity of his condition. He needed x-rays and had to be monitored while he was treated with fluids, antibiotics, and a nebulizer in order to get him breathing normally again. With careful monitoring in foster, and several follow up visits to the vet, Spanky got past the pneumonia and was adopted out on New Year’s Eve. The Angela States Guardian Fund allowed us to get Spanky the treatment he needed.
